Laughlin’s Haiku Corner

Driving the Pan American Highway can be grueling and requires a great deal of attention with driving and navigating. However, there are many stretches of highway that are fairly boring so Laughlin has started writing haikus as we drive.

For those of you that don’t know, a haiku is a standard form poem that has three lines and they are usually about nature. The first and the third line have five syllables and the second line has seven. Laughlin’s haikus are not about nature, rather, they are about our trip. We hope you enjoy them and please leave a note or submit your own haiku in the comments section below!
